Benicia Middle School Wrestling

Parents and Wrestlers Welcome!

We're excited to invite you to a brand new season at Benicia Middle School.  
Practices will be 4-days a week for 8-weeks (some of those dates will have competitions).

This middle school season is focused on developing skills for Folkstyle wrestling.  We have intentionally identified teams for dual meets to make competition easier to follow.  There will also be a few individual tournaments within this season.  

Our Season entry Parent Meetings will be at August 16th and 23rd 5-5:30pm in the MP room.

PARENTS, please fill out the registration form for your child.  Use your child's email and phone number (if possible) to create their profile first, then you can use the "add family member" option to create a profile for yourself.  Upon completion of the registration form you will receive an email with your credentials to access the SportsPlus platform.  By accessing the BMS Team page you'll receive announcements, schedule updates and access to other Team specific info. To complete registration you will need the following:

• A Physical and BMS SCHOOL FORMS with clearance from a physician from Fall 2022 or more recently
• Contact details for the athlete and the athlete's parent/guardian
• USA Wrestling ID Number (if you do not have one, you can purchase one through registration)
• Signed USA Wrestling Waiver Form (can be downloaded from the registration page)
• Photo Head Shot of the athlete (no action shots, please use a photo with the athletes face in frame)
  

BMS is encouraging families to make a $75 donation towards BMS athletics, which can be paid by Check/Cash/Money order. Please deliver this payment to Coach Wright or to the BMS front office in an envelope that includes the student-athletes full name, sport, payment amount and date.
(No student will be excluded from participation for not making a donation).

In addition, upon registration, we are asking that parents provide the student-athletes USA Wrestling ID number.  If you have an active USAW membership, then use the Discount Code "GotUSAW" at checkout.  Families are welcome to purchase their own USAW Card membership at the site provided or they can pay the $65 fee at checkout and we will create the student-athlete's account (from the USAW site it's free to create a USAW online profile, then $65 per year to activate an Athlete's membership).
